SharePoint online allows you to access your content anywhere, anytime from your mobile device as long as you have an Internet connection, either through Wi Fi or your mobile network, bringing your content to your fingertips anywhere, anytime. From a mobile device, you can access your files by first going to your preferred app store, downloading and installing the SharePoint app by Microsoft, logging in with your username and password, and then you’ll have the opportunity to browse sites, content, and lists that you’ve saved, frequently visit, or favorite. 1st, go to your mobile app store and search for the SharePoint app by Microsoft. Once you’ve installed it, select open.

The first time you do this, you’ll be asked to provide your email address and the password that you normally do use to log in to your environment. Depending on your organization settings, you may also be prompted to authenticate using MFA. Once the app is installed and assigned to your account, it will open on the find tab, allowing you to search and have quick access through SharePoint. You can look at news, which will show you pushed news and news from sites you’re following And in your me tab, you’ll see recent sites and content you’ve worked with or you can look at saved items that you favorited throughout your time in the environment. This is the same between your mobile and desktop apps.
